Dahi Baingan (Egg Plant With Yogurt) recipe by Nissa at PakiRecipes.com.
Baingan fried in oil and then dipped in spicy yogurt. Dahi Baingan can be eaten by itself, with plain, fragrant boiled rice and even with Chapatis.


Ingredients
6-8 small brinjals (cut in round thin slices)
2 cups yoghurt
Chopped green chillies for garnishing.
1 teaspoon zeeraClick to find more about zeera powder
A pinch of red chilli powder
SaltClick to find more about Salt to taste.
Oil for frying
Whole ZeeraClick to find more about Zeera
SOme brown onionClick to find more about onion for garnishing.


Preparation
Fry the brinjal slices till lightly browned. Remove from oil and keep aside.
Whip yoghurt, add zeeraClick to find more about zeera powder, red chilli powder and saltClick to find more about salt. Now add the fried brinjals.
In a small pan heat 1 table spoon oil, add zeeraClick to find more about zeera. Fry till it crackles. Then pour it over the yoghurt and brinjal mix.
Sprinkle green chillies and brown onionClick to find more about onion.
Serve and Enjoy!!!
